Brand Excellence Program Recognizes Customer Experience

MARYSVILLE, KAN:  Kramer Oil is pleased to announce both CJ Express East and CJ Express West convenience stores received Top Performer awards as part of the Sinclair Brand Excellence program.

Both stores received higher than a 96 percent on their evaluations as part of the program.  The criteria for the evaluations include good customer service, staff with a brand-appropriate appearance, cleanliness of restrooms, exterior store appearance, signage, etc. Of the 426 Sinclair locations in the Midwest region (Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin), 83 were awarded a Top Performer designation for 2018.

“We are so proud of Stacy McGrath, General Manager, and our entire staff at both CJ East and CJ West. They work hard to keep everything clean, running efficiently and of course providing great customer service to all those who visit the stores,” said Chad Kramer, President of Kramer Oil.  “In addition, our Shop Manager, Gary West, and Lead Technician, Mike Richardson, do an excellent job of maintaining the exterior of the building, keeping it clean and within Sinclair’s standards, and making sure all is running smoothly inside the store. 

According to Sinclair Corporation, the Sinclair Brand Excellence program is an “integral part of measuring and maintaining high quality customer experience” at Sinclair locations. 

CJ Express West has achieved a Top Performer award for four straight years, including two years with a 100 percent rating. This is also the fourth time CJ Express East has achieved the award. CJ Express East and West rank 46 and 50 respectively, out of the 426 locations in the Midwest.

Founded in 1976 in Marysville, Kramer Oil is one of the largest fuel providers in north central & northeast Kansas and southeast Nebraska. In addition to bulk fuel and oil sales, Kramer Oil owns and two convenience stores in Marysville, as well as cardlock facilities in 10 area communities.  The original CJ Express location opened in September 2005 on the east edge of Marysville. In 2015, Kramer Oil purchased Trails N Rails on the west edge of Marysville and rebranded it to a second CJ Express location.  Their mission is to provide our customers with a clean store and great customer service.
